Wasp slowly resurrecting ...

the wasp fell into the pool and started drowning. It took quite a while (and a lot of grooming) before it was able to fly away safe. It allowed me to have some time to take shots while it was sitting still.

The sun rises over China

When everybody was asleep on the way to Manila, I was able to take that quick shot as the sun was rising. It shows the wing flex with the raked wingtips.

Among a line of tails, Qatar Airways' first Airbus A380 has shown up today on the flight line at Toulouse, France.

Airbus A350-941 - 10th flight

The A350 XWB flew for over 6 hours for its tenth flight over the Atlantic Ocean and along the Pyrénées.

A powerful take off !

The Sukhoi Su-35 took off at the 2013 Paris Airshow and was one of the stars of the show. At take off, you could literally feel the power within those two engines.

Night is Coming ...

At the 2013 Paris Airshow, on the first day, a storm hit the area around Le Bourget. At 10:40am, it was sunny, but we were told a huge storm would soon arrive. At 11am, daylight had gone ... at 11:10am, the storm broke out and heavy rain fell. Thankfully, there was no hail. Then, a few hours later, the clouds moved away and it was sunny again ... weird.

Airbus A380-800 gets repainted

The Airbus A380 flying testbed got its Trent XWB repainted after some test (so was the wing). Some parts have remained red on the far right-hand side of the photograh.
